Tigress

Tigress is a teeny, tiny tiger cat with a loud roar!  She came to Whiskers when her senior citizen owner was no longer able to manage her medical condition.  Tigress has a thyroid condition, which can be controlled with medication, but she must be closely monitored to make sure her condition is under control.  The Whiskers medical volunteers are working with the vet to make sure Tigress receives the care she needs to keep her healthy.  She may be one of the smallest cats in the shelter, but she is probably the loudest!  She loves to talk! She will talk to people as they walk by and she has no problem voicing her displeasure at the other cats when they annoy her. Most other shelters would not take in a cat with a medical condition such as this, but this is what makes Whiskers special.  We take in cats that have no where else to go and make sure they are well cared for and live the best life possible.  Please consider sponsoring our tiny tiger with the big roar so Whiskers may continue to help cats with special medical needs like Tigress. UPDATE APRIL 2016: Our sweet, loud Tigress succombed to her multiple illnesses and has gone over the rainbow bridge.  We will miss her fighting spirit, loud meows and even louder purrs.
