The Cat Care Coalition provides a low cost spay/neuter clinic for a single person household, the maximum annual income allowed is $37,150 with an additional $5300 for each additional household member. An application is required.
A distemper vaccination, a rabies vaccination valid for one year and spay/neuter surgery are provided for $60. An optional Felv/Fiv test is available for $15.

CGHS/SPCA offers low-cost cat spay and neuter to the public at our
Shelter most Thursdays. The cost is $55.00 per cat, which includes the
spay or neuter, rabies vaccine and distemper vaccine. We also offer a Feline Leukemia test for $20 or a combination test for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS for a fee of $25.00, as well as flea and tick prevention for a $3.00 fee.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY SPCA (cats)

For a fee of $75.00 per cat, the program offers transportation of cats
between MCSPCA Animal shelter and vets office. Services are paying for
are spaying / neutering, testing for FIV/FeLV, nail trimming, ear mite
treatment, rabies vaccination and capstar flea treatment. Feral cats
will also have ear an ear clipped for identification purposes.
Additional charges ( ranging between $5.00 and $20.00 ) may be
incurred for other necessary services, such as deworming, topical flea
treatment, in heat or pregnant cat, cryptorchid males, or minor
surgeries for feral cats to alleviate immediate pain and
suffering. Owners must have their cat(s) at the MCSPCA Animal Shelter
by 6:45a.m. on the morning of the appointment, and must pick up @
approx. 7:00 p.m. that same evening ( no cats will be housed over
night). The $75.00 per cat fee is required in advance, with any
additional charges due at the time of pick-up. Cash payments are
preferred. Only a limited number of appointments are available each
month, and only cats that have been pre registered will participate in
the program.
